We in Jain give our students the fun of learning by providing funtoot. Funtoot creates a customized learning path for each child by taking into account his/her understanding level, interests, current and past performances and knowledge dependencies. It eliminates the homogeneity of tuition classes and teaches like a personal home tutor. The machine learning coupled with artificial intelligence makes the process to learn maths fun & easy.

Funtoot prepares every child for higher learning and better results by unlocking their potential, supporting them at every step and helping connect learning with real life. The pedagogy is also intelligently designed to help students crack competitive exams  like Maths Olympiad, IMO & NTSE.

The abacus is used to teach children arithmetic. An abacus tool allows children to perform basic operations like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. As children progress in learning the abacus, they can learn long division and using the operations with negative numbers.

Besides enhancing the overall comprehension of mathematics, the abacus offers other important benefits.

What are some other benefits of the abacus that we want in our students

  • A great visualization tool
  • Enhances better and faster calculating skills
  • Improves problem solving abilities
  • Teaches clearer logical reasoning
  • Enhances photographic memory
  • Provides a solid learning foundation for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

Newspaper in Education (NIE)

Newspaper in Education is an effort to promote the use of the newspaper as an educational resource in the classroom. We in Jain specifically want to focus on promoting the reading culture and thus encourage the use of the newspaper.

We believe that as newspapers provide different perspective, ranging from business to lifestyle trends , a view of world events and varied occupations among others. We also believe that the use of newspaper in classroom helps them to look at things in a bigger picture and improves the critical thinking and to help students develop sensitivity and awareness of the self, the community, the nation, and the world.

Our students feel very happy when they see their art work or activity displayed in the paper and this motivates and makes our students future ready.

ISA (British council)

The British Council International School Award (ISA) is a benchmarking scheme that accredits schools as having an outstanding level of support for:

  • Nurturing global citizenship in young people
  • Enriching teaching and learning

Our Jain schools are working with British council towards this award.

How accreditation has a positive effect on the students

  • Opens a window to other countries and cultures, giving teachers and students a new outlook on the world.
  • Prepares students with skills for life and work in a global economy, opening their eyes to new opportunities.
  • Gives the school a fresh and attractive identity, and a new globally conscious ethos.
